Kevin Windham for Missouri State House District 85
Kevin Windham, a Democrat, has been a lifelong member of the community and is seeking election to the MO House of Representatives from the 85th District.
Kevin Windham is a public servant with experience working in federal and state government. While studying corporate communications at SEMO, Kevin was active in the President’s Task Force on Diversity Education, Student Government Association, Black Student Union, and FOCUS St. Louis’ Impact Fellows.
Kevin was also a member of Cigna’s inaugural Ferguson-St. Louis Internship program and was awarded SEMO’s Distinguished Student Award for creating lasting and positive change in April 2015.
Kevin holds progressive values, yet he understands the importance of reaching across the aisle to create innovative and positive solutions for the people of the 85th.
Kevin is currently engaged with the Neighborhood Leadership Fellows, works as an Education Policy intern with the Scholarship Foundation of St. Louis, and serves as the Director of Finance with Kiwanis Club in University City.

He believes that the next representative of the 85th District should center their public service on Justice, Equity, and Transparency.
- Justice: Criminal Justice Reform, Prison Reform, Housing/Vacant homes
- Equity: All resources of the state of Missouri should be evaluated with a racial equity lens, providing equitable support to the Promise Zone and other at-risk communities.
- Transparency: Kevin will have bimonthly town halls, all residents will be able to access him personally and remain aware of updates and events.
